THE LAND IS HOLDING YOU is shaped by a continuous process of reflection and immersion in the natural world. The work is born from deep meditations in the hills, forests, and coastline of the Gower AONB in Wales, where the artist slows down, allowing the landscape to guide the creation. Each piece evolves as a dialogue between the artist and the land, a ritual of becoming part of the environment before transforming it into art.
The project engages with the idea of human connection to the earth and its resources, reflecting on how we interact with the world around us. Sustainability is woven into every layer, not just in the subject matter, but in the materials, methods, and environmental impact of the work.
